Mackenzie Construction is proud to announce that a team of employees have recently completed their Mental Health First Aid training this October, forming the company’s full group of trained Mental Health First Aiders. Mackenzie Construction’s Mental Health First Aiders are: Amanda Davis, Alison Irwin, Bill Henderson, Bill Jones, Bob McKinnie, Chris Duffy, Clair Browning, Colin Gilluley, Gus Fenwick, James McClure, John Patrick, Kevin Fisher, Mark Blades, Mick Quigley, Robbie Coleman, Robbie MacLean, Robert O’Neill, Steven Baird, Karina Howie, Richard Helens, Darren McKeown, Connor Burrell, Jason Iley, Gavin Merrit, David McNiven, Mark Brown, Mark Matthias, Josh Gilmour, Declan Hood, Matthew Leonard, Dale Woods, Luke Cameron, Mason Frizelle, and Connor Carmichael.
These trained volunteers are available across sites and departments to offer a listening ear and confidential support. Their work reflects Mackenzie Construction’s continued commitment to wellbeing and to fostering a culture where everyone feels safe, supported, and valued.
The company will continue to strengthen this commitment through further training, awareness sessions, and open conversations around mental health. Together, the team’s efforts play a vital role in building a positive, supportive culture across the business.
