Scope of works:
The construction phase involved a wide range of civil engineering and landscaping activities, including:
Demolition of existing structures
Two reinforced concrete car parking decks were carefully demolished to meet the new site profile. All demolition material was crushed on-site and reused as infill for the new car parks—minimising waste and reducing environmental impact.
New car parking facilities
Following demolition, new car parks were constructed with asphalt surfacing, monoblock pathways, and clearly marked road layouts.
Feature retaining walls and structures
High-quality, stone-faced retaining walls were built, incorporating bespoke decorative inscriptions. Additional features included new stairways and a striking decorative steel pergola.
Drainage and utilities
A new drainage system was installed, including manholes designed to function as hydrobrakes for surface water runoff. New utility connections were coordinated with service providers, and new street and feature lighting was installed—highlighting both pathways and trees.
Hard and soft landscaping
The scheme was completed with decorative paving and extensive soft landscaping, introducing greenery and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the area.
